Treat yourself this Candlemas Day!

We recommend our Macvin Rouge du Jura aged for over 3 years in oak barrels. Its kirsch flavours of cherries and ripe fruit will go perfectly with Crêpes Suzette.

We look forward to welcoming you to our tasting room, open daily from 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 7pm.

And as a bonus, the recipe for Crêpes Suzette from Hervé Cuisine: 😉

1. Heat 300ml semi-skimmed milk, 20g sugar, 50g butter and a split vanilla pod in a saucepan.
2. Once the milk starts to simmer, turn off the heat, cover and leave to infuse.
3. Sift 125g of flour, make a well and add 3 eggs to the centre, start to mix with a whisk.
4. Gradually pour in the warm milk, mixing well to prevent lumps forming.
5. If you like, add the amber rum and leave the dough to rest for 1 hour.
6. Cook the pancakes in a hot buttered frying pan.
7. In a large bowl, remove the zest from one orange, whisk with 125g of soft butter and 75g of icing sugar to obtain a cream.
8. Fill the crêpes with this mixture, fold into 4 and place in a large frying pan with a knob of butter.
9. Heat 15cl of orange liqueur (Grand Marnier) in a separate saucepan. Once it is hot, pour it quickly over the crêpes in the pan and, off the heat, pour the liqueur over the crêpes.
10. And taste with our red macvin.🍷
